pink flower

By Ginamagnolia
Can anyone identify this flower. My husband tells me off for not keeping the name tags! It grows near my pond. Taken as a macro and cropped tight to give an abstract effect.

I love macro photography, and this is an example of great macro photography, i normally go for a very vibrant look in my flower macros but i really like the delicate pastel shade of this image it works beautifully, i like the composition also as for what it is, i'm not to sure is it a type of honeysuckle these have very similar petals when they are open, is it a climber or shrub?

It's an Astrantia.
Nice shallow dof you have used here to create the softness, although I'm not really seeing a definite point of focus.
The colours are good & I like your subject.
