Pause for Reflection

By gingerdelight
Taken at Nose's Point in Seaham, I like the shapes the reflections were making in the water. Some of you with good eyesight may just be able to make out two ships on the horizon - honestly, they are there!!

Thank you for all your interest in my last upload - I can assure you that the dessert was delicious, if somewhat sickly!!

I hope that those of you who have had deep snow (my parents included) stay safe and warm.

All the best for a good weekend!

Carol

I see them Carol - well just about, and if you hadn't have mentioned it I'm certain that I wouldn't have seen them WinkWink
I can also see why you were drawn to this reflection too.
The wire fencing makes an interesting pattern

Amazing how a simple bit of fencing and a reflection can make
an interesting image. Well observed Carol.

An excellent composition, Carol, with the reflections in the foreground. I will have to take your word on there being two ships on the horizon, my poor eyes can't spot them Wink Carol

Makes a fine image with that lovely reflection in the foreground. Can just about make out 2 tiny smudges which I take it are those ships!

Amazing how a reflection can turn something mundane into something magical as here.

A wonderfully observed photograph Carol, for me the horizon is quite distracting, and if I may be so bold as to suggest a square crop in order to provide a more balanced composition.

Some great reflections here, Carol, and yes, I can see the two ships on the horizon...though must admit I wouldn't have spotted them without you mentioning them! Wink

Clever of you to spot the possibilities with this Carol, also good use of focus with the sharpness on the fence. I think I see the ships, one at centre and the other just left of centre, correct?

Looks like a tanker and a liner on the horizon Carol, like the reflection in this shot, regards Leon.GrinGrinGrinGrinGrin
