The Barter

By gingerdelight
Taken at the St Giles' Church Medieval Fayre recently - thought I would give it a "makeover" to omit all the background distractions. Also slightly desaturated to give it an "older" feel. Hope you approve!

Thanks to you all for your wonderful comments, I'm pleased you enjoyed my Coffin Lake uploads.

Will this rain ever stop? I started out for work at 7.10am and the route I took has been closed off due to flooding, plus more routes on the way even if I did get through the first road-block! I gave up and came home in the (probably vain) hope that the rain will stop and the cars will start moving again. I have the local radio on to keep up to date. In the meantime I will try catching up with your photos!!! (Every cloud and all that!).

Take care if the weather is bad where you are and you may be out and about.

Just had to look again having read the "boot buckles" comment - they aren't; they're toggles and I am pretty certain therefore totally in keeping! Wonderful result of your work to "age" this.

Thank you both for your comments!

I did consider cloning out the toggles on the boots but thought they were in keeping so left them in!

An image full of 'Biblical' qualities, and one which is so very endearing, wonderfully crafted, composed, processed and presented.
