A rather nice capture of this fine historical pier at Saltburn. The only thing that I would change about this monochrome, is probably the exposure time. This would give a rather ghost like feeling to the people on the pier, and smooth down the rather no descriptive water below. Further more I think the lengthier exposure would add a more dramatic effect to that rather gorgeous over hanging rain filled sky.

Gra, i think Nathan has pretty much summed it up

given your relative new-comer status i wouldn't worry too much but if you take a look at the folk walking on the far right of the visible pier you will see that they have been truncated - so if not going to the bother of slowing the scene at least ensure that your walkthroughs are not being decapitated.

given your ISO and aperture combi i imagine you were already going for a slow effect on this and have simply been hampered by the fact that it was too light, as previously discussed you would therefore need to use an ND to slow this further - good effort i reckon
