Good sense of scale. The people on the beach gives me a greater appreciation of the mass of the beach and water.

Like the water patterns on the sand and the "layers" in the photo. Very satisfying colours with the figures giving scale.

I took this shot from the military cemetery positioned above the beach. It was significant , that it was a lovely day, perfect sunbathing weather and the the cemetery was crowded. yet few people ventured down to the beach. A mark of respect, I think.
