Well I had a great day yesterday, no rain and some new birds show up on my property. Had some time for a few photos and spent the best part of the day in my hide. Today's special a Indigo Bunting. This bird is hard to shoot as the slightest noise scares them off, to include the sound of the camera's shutter. But I was patient and managed to get about 20 shots of this elusive bird.
The focus is pin sharp, which under the circumstances descibed is very impressive. You must have patience by the bucket-load, to spend a day in a hide & only end up with 20 shots.
Having said that, I'd have considered it a good day if I only took this 1.
