My Girl

By glazzaro
Sorry

I got busted and the wife has made me remove the shot I had put up of her and my new grandson, and at 5.2 my wife can pack a wallop! Wink So here is another shot of my youngest daughter who recently earned 2 guinea pigs as payment for her service as model. Oh, sorry for the click and runs, but I am very busy with work and the new grandchild. I am driving back and forth between Virginia and Delaware. Will talk to you all soon and see you all out on the site. Again I apologize for removing the photo, I really do not like doing that, but I appreciate breathing more! Wink

Greg

My setup when shooting:

1. Two Strobe and two hot lamps. Wireless Commander Nikon SU-800.

3. Studio stool
4. Set the camera to manual mode.

6. Adjusted lamps and strobes based on levels.

Real shame, Greg, but I do respect your sense of self-preservation! Smile) And if its in the name of peace, then so be it! This is superb as well, great eye contact and capture of expression, and again, marvellous tonal range. Definitely worth a couple of guineas!! Smile)

A nice viewpoint with lovely clear tones and depth.
My wife weighs 100 pounds (a bit more now she's pregnant), but her "in close" work with knees and elbows has to be felt to be believed. Often my only defence is to give her "the helicopter" followed by a slam and a joint lock until the red mist has gone. (Just a suggstion).

The highs and lows of an art photographer. My wife's 5' 2" and she packs one too. These portraits are excellent - good lighting and relaxed subject, well-framed.

Aargh...I missed it! Oh well, this is certainly a studio quality shot with good lighting. I guess compared to birds, shooting people is easy. Or at laest they move more slowly. Though humans can be quite uncooperative at times! No time lately for the site but I'll do some more browsing this weekend.
