When shooting a white dog with a bright background, use +1 exposure compensation. That extra exposure would really make this "pop", as its got a lot a=of good detail.

You can also do this with Photoshop, or any editor.

Westies are my favourite dogs (although I do love them all), and Gracie is a real beauty.
