A break from the Spanish butterflies today, but another lifer for me. Pete Withers and myself think we photographed them in Spain last week but we're not 100% sure, so yesterday the two of us along with Ray Seagrove went down to East Blean Woods near Canterbury in search of this stunning Fritillary. It was well worth the 300 mile round trip as we saw dozens of them and they were relatively easy to photograph, which made a nice change.
