The Driving Wheels

By GlynnisFrith
These are the driving wheels of Britannia No 70000 take outside the shed at Grosmont NYMR, the light on the wheels brought out more of the detail which I liked

Hope the weather is fine for you all

A great low viewpoint and composition here, Glynnis Smile After a couple of warm and sunny days, it's back to cold, wet weather here again today Sad

The low viewpoint allowing concentration on the wheels and crankshafts ( if that's the right word) makes an a most interesting image, and the detail and tones on the metalwork comes over so well.

A good low pov and great perspective. The light, as you point out, does bring out some excellent detail.
