No mere flash in the pan

Taken last year at Scone palace, Game conservancy trust.

This a two photo composite, one which wasn't all that sharp, but had the gunpowder flash and the other which was plain but sharper.

I used cut and paste, selecting an area from the right hand side of the rifle (near the hammer) and overlayed it onto the original, erasing back some of the rifles details.

Phew!

Now if this was a comment on the puns you would not get a click. Fortunately the image is good. A rare example of an action image - don't care how you arrived there, it's the final image. I really like the sparks at the top.
