Snow Monkey

By Gomez
Taken at the Highland Wildlife Park, near Aviemore, on the GDPU weekend trip to Pitlochry.

Taken through glass, which was smeared with sticky fingerprints and the smudged, facial expressions of long departed, curious children.

This guy was rooting around for food, but had to stay alert due to the alpha male wanting first dibs. Every so often he would look up, call out and then return to picking through the heather.

We could have watched them for hours, but they got bored with us and wandered off to sit in the sun, on the otherside of a large pond.

ISO 100, 1/50th sec, f/7.10
