Pee-wee

By goso
A male "Pee-wee" - correct name is "Magpie Lark". The female does not have the white eyebrow. Known Australia wide as a "Pee-wee". A smaller version of our "Magpie". They love pecking at their own reflections in car mirrors, windows and hubcaps - in the "good ol days" when milk was delivered in bottles, they would peck holes in the bottles tinfoil lids.

Great closeup capture Bill.
We had a pair that nested in our garden once, high on a branch over the driveway.
They had used fur from our dogs coats, Collies, that was scattered around the lawn.
I have never seen such a neat and furry nest like that since…...WinkWinkWink
