They Shall Return

Around this time in 2009 I uploaded a pic of some eggs and chicks in a nest the parents made in a small wall flower pot thingo on the back verandah. After watching them for a couple of weeks, we had to go away for a few days, and on return found the nest empty.

We left the flower pot as it was, and this week, the parents returned and are again raising three chicks in the same nest - hopefully, we can see them off to a safe start in life this time. We have many predators in the bush here, both flying and ground type. Still not sure of the type of bird.
