Surprise Discovery

By gpimages
This was the last image of the day from my hike to Nan Bield Pass in the Lake District the other week and the second waterfall - the worthwhile result of the very wet weather that we had in May.

I was surprised by this series of waterfalls I saw on my way down from Harter Fell and couldn't resist the detour. Probably too long an exposure time but I thought still worthwhile sharing.

Thank you for looking.

Thank you also for taking the time to comment and vote on 'Two Tarns' and 'The Wibbly Wobbly Wall!'. Each is very much appreciated and I am pleased that you enjoyed the images.

Lovely waterfall Graham, well worth the detour. How far is this from Mardale car park?

Very spectacular, Graham, worth the detour! Long exposures capturing water movement is something I've yet to try. It does help, of course, having a tripod! 😃👍
