Bittern ll

By Gray_ina
Thank you for c'c on previous upload - always very grateful.
Just trawling through the archives (my sigma lens is in hospital again) and came across the Bittern - a shot I've taken last March in the New Forest, variable light and on a mission to get to the thicker reed cover, would have liked it if he just stoped there and stand tall or turned his head a little more to the light but hey that is wildlife, hope you like it - gray

Excellent shot gray.
It appears on the picture you have taken, it seems to be a bit misty, maybe the camera was a bit dirty or something towards the reed area on the bottom left corner.

Well done to get it in the open - good detailed shot and easy to see how they can disappear in front of your eyes - Ina
