So as Fuji have done in the past, will this be another Nikon based product a rework of the Df .
Move on with photography, next will be a bellows camera with A/F and medium size sensor or a plate size sensor that plugs in to an i-phone.
Lets stop going back and move on.
Or has it come full circle?

    Other points to add.
Do not be tempted to wonder onto the trackside most railway's issue permit's for this due to safety.
Do not stand on the edge of the platform at a station, as the doors on the rolling stock can be and often are opened from inside by some fool in a rush to get off, if one of these hit you in the back or worse the head it will possibly be a day out with the undertaker.
Do not wear clothing that cover's your ears, listen to station staff when they speak.
Be aware of other engine's which may approach from the opposite direction.( that's sometimes also a good tip for getting your shot) If you get all set up for a shot of a particular loco and one arrives from the opposite direction it can block your shot so ask station staff before wasting time.

Yep they will be having a full phoney china tea service delivered to the wedding reception by some SmugB-----d with all the days photo's on it before the official tog has downloaded to his desktop, meanwhile the album up to the cutting of the cake will have been sent to a wireless 49
printer and assembled by his pet rabbit and presented before the first dance.
Only then armed with a D4 will the official tog get the ambiance of the disco lights without flash.
Come on why else would you spend 5k plus would the app cope with that. WinkWinkWinkTongue

  • Posted on: Nikon EN-EL15 Battery Advisory

It's happened before with the D200 i think probably the same supplier.

    Quote:2599 for a battery?????

Why not if Hassleblad can knock a few grand off a camera why can't Nikon put a few on.( Oh sorry they did that when they realized demand was high and us Brit's would pre order at over inflated prices) My local Jessops quoted me 1200+ D800's on back order and most of them paid for in full.

Your portfolio so far impresses me .
You are off to a good start here .
For me the composition is good , and i can now understand your reasons for exposure advice.
Personally if these image's where shot in RAW there is work that could be done in PS or LR to make them great images.

love it so far and keep trying
