1891 House

By gregl
Apologies for my lack of comments recently as work seems to have really limited my time to enjoy photography.
Saw this house on my way to Wapping and decided to go back for the camera. Apparently built in the late Victorian period, the gables seem to indicate a strong Dutch influence. I really liked the design and all the details and pushed the processing a bit to accentuate them. Hope it works.
As always thanks for taking the time to stop and have a look.

Such a beautiful house, large is even more interesting. Those posters on the left are in such stark and crazy conflict with the grandeur of the building. Well edited..

I like the processing Greg. I think the clarity is excellent - this could work in muted tones or even mono too - it's a strong image as the house is very imposing.
