Photography has been part of my life for five decades now. A selection of cheap plastic 35mm and 110 format cameras started me off on this journey of light through my formative years when most of my spare time was spent either making, repairing or sailing boats of all shapes & sizes.
A succession of cameras followed including a Zenith E, Yashica FX2, Contax 139 and a Canon EOS 3 all of which served me well. I still have them, they all work well to this day. Moving to digital capture in 2003 with a Canon EOS 10D together with a Nikon 4500 to use on my birding scope, expanded my photography in all sorts of ways.
The great outdoors has always been a lure to me and making images of nature in all her forms continues to be my main interest. I do feel however that I should experiment with a wider variety of subjects. My other interests include crafting wood, birdwatching, walking and the occasional game of golf.
Constructive feedback on my work is always welcome.
