King of the Penguins

By grinningsoul2011
A proud King Penguin amoung a group of other magnificent birds. Taken at Volunteer Point in the Falklands. I had taken lots of the group and wanted to get a head shot and concentrate on one bird. I would welcome your thoughts on whether this shot works or doesn`t.

If you don`t think it does please tell me why and how you would have tackled this subject.

Is the background distracting or does it set the scene?

I look forward to your thoughts and comments.

Lovely shot Janet. The pose,BG, and exposure are fine. I would like to think I could do as we'll.
Nice to hear from you again.

A nice head shot, the background is fine. Great location to visit - at the right time of course Wink
EyesFront yes it would be very dissapointing to be there at the wrong time of year and miss all the wonderfull wildlife. Thanks for taking time to comment.
