El Abandonado

This is the wreck of the Telamon, Lanzarote, previously named Temple Hall and Pantelis. Built in 1954, the Telamon was on route from San Pedro from the Ivory Coast to Thessaloniki with a cargo of logs when she sprung a leak and was forced to run aground in Arrecife, Lanzarote on the 31st October 1981.

Initial basic processing was done in Capture One where I created two versions, one for the sky and one for the ship and sea. The rest of the processing was done in Photoshop. The scene was flipped horizontally to suit my artistic vision for the piece.
