I remember when I was a little lad the tractor broke down so we borrowed a shire horse called "Prince" The farm hand hitched up a plough, sat me on "Prince" and of we went.

Superb B&W with beautifully controlled dof. using B&W enables the two horses and the ploughman to be seen as a single entity (without the distraction of colour where i think the horses would overpower the man).

Just spotted this delightful image so please accept my belated award. It reminds me of when we visited a farm in Northumberland and watched the heavy horses plough the fields.
