Ribblehead Viaduct

Really should have checked out the timetable today - was on these rocks for a couple of hours and watched a good few diesil trains go past before the steam engine made its appearance.

Dark and wet - pretty much what you want for this kinda location I guess

Very nice composition. I have looked at this spot many times and thought the viaduct is a little too far away (How wrong am I).

Not sure why but after skimming a few photos I thought 'haven't seen much of Ade McFade' and up pops your brilliant photo of the Ribble Valley. A brave composition as without the smoke it would have been much less impressive. Like Gavin above, I would have gone closer to reduce the risk of not getting a shot, which is why you have made the step to pro - I hope it is all going well for you. Chris
