Wonderful image of this lake Ron.............although not strictly a lake.
I always find it a quite intimidating place, with the screes disappearing straight down into the water on the Scafell side.

Even in colour and on a good day, Wastwater always carries a sense of dread. The mono enhances this eerie quality.

Wonderful scenery, but after a very wet Camera Club day out to Keswick way back in the late 1980s, never been back to the Lake District since! A stunning shot here, Ron 😃👍🏻
