The deep beyond

By Guernseydan
After what feels like an eternity away from my coastline due to an unintentional break (or house rennovations as it's otherwise known!!) I finally managed to get out with the camera yesterday morning.

Taken around 20 minutes before sunrise in the glow of some fabulous pre-dawn light, the steps at Fermain Point never seize to fascinate me, so it was a welcome return to one of my favourite haunts.

Cracking shot Dan, love the steps in the fg. One of our favourite places on Guernsey, well done and thanks for posting, its cheered me up on a grey day here in Lancashire.

Hi Dan

I bet you were glad you made it out yesterday morning! Wasn't it amazing the way the clouds rolled in at sunrise. Made up for the rest of the day being such a wash out!

I almost headed to Fermain myself yesterday but ended up at my new favourite spot up on the cliffs at La Corbiere.

I took a shot from this landing a few weeks ago but when the tide was much lower. The way the steps lead out to sea is nice and effective in your shot.
