  • Welsh Winding ...

Lovely shot Paul and echo norrieB's comments. I can't believe you have shots like this just lying around waiting to be found Wink I didn't realise quite how far the sun comes over in this spot, as i've only ever been down here in winter. Defintely worth a revisit in summer. Grin

  • Sunday Cycle

Quote:This looks like UK from the scenery but all the cyclists appear to be on the wrong side of the road!
Good action shot though I think it could be improved by cropping to exclude some of the road in the foreground and all of the sky. David

This looks like a TLI Road race judging by the chap on the motorbike at the back, and their on the opposite side of the road as they appear to be manouvering for a turn. Grin

  • Hot & Cold ...

I really like the composition of this one, equal on the vertical and thirds on the horizontal, it works brilliantly.

    Hi Anthony,

I take it you've gone to seek another Landmark in your life? Wink

We'll know when you've found it as the photos will soon follow. Glad to hear your doing well and lookforward to seeing some more of your work.

Btw. what do you make of the Sigma 10-20mm lens? I've just picked up a 40D with the 17-85mm lens to try out.

  • The lake district

Nice shot. Unless I'm very much mistaken, that looks like Knott Rigg at the top of Newlands Pass just up from Buttermere?

  • Time Runs Out

I really like the creative thought behind this photo and some of your others, it's nice to see a different angle being taken here.

As for thoughts, aside from the clock, you could almost imagine those 2 items being left to endure the test of time to the elements, a buggy that had seen its day and a ball that no longer works...

    Agree with DaveU's comments also.

    Nice work.

  • Talacre lighthouse

Lovely image. I've taken a few of the lighthouse around Christmas time, before it was painted. Its nice to see it looking revived again. Almost makes me want to go and take some more snaps.
