An interesting looking image, the softness suits the little flames. But perhaps you're disappointed because the flames are a little too soft. I don't know your camera I'm afraid, but it looks rather dark in the room, perhaps you'd get better results if you used a tripod (or rested the camera on something solid nearby). As with all flame though, care has to be taken!! Smile

Good advice from Karen - - love the colours and the movement on the flames - - just be careful you don't burn yourself! Smile

I think you have this pretty well spot on really. The composition is really good and I like the tops of the flames being slightly blurred. The next time I am stuck for something to take I think I will take a look at my gas hob!
