  • Sandstorm Namib desert

This is an amazing desert photo, Ron. The color of Sahara sand is startling....orange. I have a bottle of it sitting on my mantle from Tunisia.

  • Mixed light

I prefer the mono, John. And the shadows produced by the "hard" light give a good sense of modeling form.

  • Carefully censored...

Was V1 a reference to having you in the water at the same time. John?

I love the versions...and the subtlety of the first.

  • The passion through a glass

I would not modify....an artist makes choices. The question is, were they successful, based on the intention. I see neither the perception of passion, nor playfulness. And, clearly shot with a phone.

Since we photographers rarely get photographed (seems to be a "rule"). This is a terrific portrait, let alone a selfie. Great work, Colin.

  • American Cars, Holquin, Cuba

And, Cuba has, not entirely voluntarily, learned how to make a zero growth economy work. Highest literacy rate in the western hemisphere, great medical care, I would love to go there. I think cars are held together with duct table and coat hanger wire......and a lot of ingenuity.
