Darwin from the Mangroves

By Jocelia
This is a lovely drive through East Point Park with a view of Darwin in the distance.
A nice spot, pristinely clean.

What beautiful images Jocelia - I especially like V1 with the avenue of trees and their shadows.
The trees in the water also make interesting images.
Are they normally surrounded by water?
Darwin looks a great place to visit.

These trees are part of a mangroves system Kate. Yes subject to the tide
they would be in and out of water Check on Google for more information.
Mangroves can be much thicker than this and are known as lungs of the earth.

I was wondering about the same query posed by Kate.
Three fine captures showing off the beauty if thus area near Darwin way up in the far north.
A nice set of images with great composition. My favourite being V1 which has a wonderful angle. Well done Jocelia.

A lovely - and certainly tidy looking - location, Jocelia Smile Seems strange to see trees growing out of the sea! Wink
