Magic forest - Saturday shadows

By Alda
A bit of 'magic' Saturday Shadows GrinGrin

V2 is the original. It was so nice and cool in the woods I just wanted to stay there all day Grin Oh, and I didn't straighten it, because that's actually how the ground slopes. V3 is just a bit more messing about Wink

I Love this woodland scene, was wondering what surprise we were going to get in v3 from you Alda.
I was thinking about someone like Little Red Riding Hood,or a big BearSmileBut never thought of a white horseGrinGrinGrin

The inclusion of the white rearing horse in image number three instantly adds interest and a sense of fantasy and magic, however it does not feel quite right. Whilst image number one has been very well composed ,captured and processed, which has given a rather atmospheric and dreamy appeal to the scene.

I didn't feel the horse looked quite right either Nathan, which is why I did't add it as V1 TongueGrin

Hi Alda v1 for me I think you have worked it to perfection. A lot of people wouldn't realise how hard it can be to get a good image in a forest in dappled shade. I know from experience then I've taken quite a few that looked good to the eye then got them home and found them far to cluttered.
I have to say I think this one is spot on well done.

V1 is a splendid picture. I do not like the sharpness of V2, while I think I would add more elements to V3!

V1 for me and V3, i like the deeper mood of V1 and the in v3 the horse gives the image more. Great set.
