A Long Weekend on the Chesapeake Bay #3

By handlerstudio
Sorry not to be in and commenting on wonderful photos, and sneaking some of our sailing trip in. Enough of reflections! We got underway about 9:15, with light winds, mostly coming behind our stern. As you can seem not much wind. Powered down to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, about 10 miles below RocK Hall. The while line in the lower left I left in on is the starboard rail on our boat, and provides context.

We were out late tonight, and I needed to pack. Headed out tomorrow for the 2014 International Conference of Citizens' Climate Lobby for two days of conference and 2-3 days of lobbying Congress to pass a "fee and dividend" carbon tax. We, on this side of the pond, put out a lot of carbon into the air, and to this point do little to change that. This is what we are working on. Will be in DC until Thursday. In Europe, you have, I believe, cap and trade, British Columbia in Canada has a Carbon Tax, Australia did. We are trying to catch up.

So sorry not to have time to review photos tonight. My deep regrets.

Excellent POV Peter, ( would benefit a crop at the bottom, that white handrail taken out ) Freedom.

I can see why you wanted the rail there. Personally I'd either want to see more of it across the whole frame or not there.
Nonetheless, I like the curve of the bridges, and if you're into mono this should work very well.

Great image Peter ! But for me to go over on either bridge, would have to be done while I was asleep! Too high for me!
