A Very Vinalhaven View of a Victorian House

By handlerstudio
With the plywood shack, lobstering lines and assorted stuff, not a classic view, but it is the mix there. The next image is a more classical photo of a wonderful Victorian house.. The last photo is a mod of one of yesterday's images, and trying the crop suggested by Marian (Potra).

My family goes to Cape May,New Jersey tomorrow for a week with lots of family from all over......we will probably have about 20-25 for dinner each night. My family likes to get together as often as we can for as long as we can. We have rented the same house for at least 15 years. Those of us who like to cook do, the rest clean. I like to cook. I try to get out on my (recumbent) bike for at least 35 miles each morning.

This should be my last upload for a week. See y'all next Saturday. Plan to take a lot of photos, probably of the Jersey marshes......but still more to show of our Maine trip.

Lots of artistry in the building woodwork. Makes for very attractive images. Fishing and crab bikes.. People LIVING a full life here. I miss Shediac New Brunswick and lobster fishing. Rich and vibrant images!! TG

Another three beautifully composed and captured images of this most beautiful town. Image two being my particular favourite Peter, beautiful architecture, and so very proud in stature...

A very "real" place - beautiful, but in use for everyday living...

V3 looks good, Peter! I would also try a cropping that includes the shed that is on the left. It has a very good old-barn red that you could use. Grin
That house is so pretty, hope the owners are done with the repairs soon.

Interesting looking house Peter, not easy to get a clear shot of the place by the look
