Autumn on Pennypack Creek--Reflections #19

By handlerstudio
Back to a more impressionistic image as the series of Pennypack Creek reflections moves toward the last week of images. If yo look carefully, there is one element of this photo that is "real".

I would like to thank Simon Fletch for his very generous comment and award for my last upload, and in his words, for my Pennypack Park reflection photos.

This whole series has been an experiment for me.....and when I started the uploads, I had no sense that I would keep this going for over three weeks. As always, I love to read your comments.....and thanks for support.

Awesome image this Peter ! I see more than one real item here - the duckie and some floating leaves - and the lovely frosty reflections are real too GrinGrinGrinGrin

Well that is strictly true, Herman, there are the leaves......I was thinking of the duck.....the reflections are real, or if one wants to think about Plato's Allegory of the Cave in his Republic, one might think otherwise.....the waves are real, but are they here more a part of the reflections.....to get maybe a bit overly metaphysical.

I'll duck any arguements here...
It's another sumptuous image, Peter.

Great addition to the series.

Splendid, actually looking a lot like home to me

seriously cold here, wicked wind--- We are hoping it kills the ticks (not likely) etc. Thanksgiving could be 2, 6 or 11 depending upon weather and other whims. At this rate there might be skating on the creek for entertainment (also not likely, but I have done it before)

You have a GREAT DOUBLE CELEBRATION!
