autumn on Pennypack Creek--Reflections #23

By handlerstudio
So here, I have done some fairly heavy cropping for composition.....and putting up two different crops, one more severe. You all be the judge. Thanks again for continued support. We are in the middle here at my house of some serious family gatherings......last night, 16 for Thanksgiving, tonight 14 for met stepson Isaac's 18th birthday, and tomorrow, what we call in my family T2 (Thanksgiving 2), but this time is going to be a Hanukkah dinner--brisket, potato latkes, the works. With all this family, it has been a little hard to have much time to look and and comment on all your photos....my apologies. Will get to it as soon and fully as I can.

Intriguing from the thumbnail and delightful addition to the series.
How lovely with all your family celebrations, what would we do without them.
The dinner for Hanukkah sounds yummy, your family sounds like ours too with more than 12
around the table. The Papa lays up the table for me while I do the cooking, isnít that wonderful.
He loves doing it too, donít have to ask.
Hope you all have a special an honoured timeÖ...WinkWinkWink

Very attractive image. I love the repeated vertical reflections, mirrored by the tree trunk. I particularly like v1. I wonder what an even more severe crop with just the bottom bank showing would be like? Smile

Again, I liked V2 better. I do think the trees add balance to the water.

Another superb addition to 'Reflections....', Peter.
I also prefer V1 and wonder if cropping the opposite bank of the creek would work?
The colours, rippling in the water are superb.
