End of Winter--Oakleaf Hydrangea

By handlerstudio
Crocuses are up, the first primrose flowers are just appearing, and the rhubarb is pushing up, but it is still the end of winter, and brown is still the color here. There is beauty in the old leaves from last summer, the form of the oak leaf hydrangea, such a robust and elegant plant, still keeping its form and integrity, with a color not as simple as "dried leaf brown".
