Walking in the Everglades at Shark River, the wildlife was spectacular, and almost too easy.....I was lucky to capture these two birds, one in flight.

nice, the way you just caught it taking to flight with the head sharp and a bit of movement in the wings. the inclusion of the secondary bird is good too and provides additional interest.

its subjective but maybe the cropping is a bit tight up top and left side and the bird is a bit lost against a detailed backdrop but its still a nice shot and hey, with a 180 mm lens thats even better. they are hard enough with a 500 mm some days.

It's a nice shot and a good capture, I would be almost tempted to crop off the other bird and desaturate the green tree a little. I'll havea go at a mod tomorrow and see if i can show you what I mean.

A nice image in general. Sharp enough but the blue Heron's feet are slightly sharper than the head. Still a lot of appeal and not easy.

Lovely capture of the Heron in flight, and the movement blur adds to the shot. I have to agree with Davesummer, and now his mod, which does improve the shot with the little tweaks he has done. Not too bothered about the feet being sharper than the head, still works for me. James Grin
