Frogs#3: Winter in New York

By handlerstudio
Somehow, this is the only photo I took of this rather extraordinary looking frog...once again, name unknown to me. It was crowded there, Natural History being one of the few museums open in New York on a Monday....and during the holidays....lots of families and kids. An amazing number of languages overheard at the museum.

And, my deep thanks to Isabel (Chinga) and Kathryn (Kathrynlouise) for their valued UA'a on my last frog image.

Never been there, Peter.
Is it more like a frog zoo as well as a museum?
Some beautiful pictures of these cute fellers.

No. This was actually a traveling exhibition. The museum is probably most famous for its huge collection of dinosaur fossils and skeletons, many standing in full glory, and for its dioramas of human cultural and biological history, and of animals from around the world, in themed collections of dioramas. They also have a hall of gems and minerals, where they have large meteors, as well as the Hope Diamond. And, much else.
