I have been away from EPZ for a while.......after my Citizens Climate Lobby conference last month, I have had a couple of craft shows (remember I am a furniture maker professionally), and then Karen and I took a week long road trip vacation to Maine and back, returning only Thursday night. With only a few days home each time, it seemed like I had not enough continuity to sign on and show/comment on photos. I have been editing a selection of photos from this trip, and my craft fair trips from raw.
This is a scene from our friends' house on Vinalhaven Maine, about 20 miles offshore, with a highly crenelated coastline. An island best seen from a kayak, where many of the photos of the next days will be shot from. The tides there are 13', less than many Brits experience, but high for here. This was shot near high tide, and close to sunset from Robert and Donna's front deck. At low tide, there is no water in this cove.
Good to be back, friends. A bit late, tonight, perhaps for many comments from me, but those will come. I will welcome your comments on my upcoming photos over the next week or two of my trip.
