Around 12,000 feet up, in Pisac, I saw these Quechua (descendants of the Incas) men carrying thatch. From the looks of them, heavier than it looks----and working at high altitude, even if they live there.
Beautiful and well captured.
Wonderful take, you can really see how high you are there in the Andes.
A fine PJ pics
I suppose thatch grass only grow at a much lower altitude ! Poor guys - but then hard work never hurt anyone my late grandfather used to say Excellent photo Peter !
Love your POV in V1 > an awesome image showing just how high and steep this area is, well done...John
Shows their way of life beautifully A hard life indeed but probably a very happy life
Nice Image!! I like it a lot!!
Two superb captures.
Very steep hillsides, and what hard work they do!!!
Two great images, yes thatch grass is extremely heavy, well captured
Hard work! I've seen similar scenes in Vietnam.
Great + interesting captures!
Now I really wouldn't want to have to carry that lot up a mountain
Great capture especially V2!
