Riverboats on the Madre de Dios River

By handlerstudio
On our way from Puerto Maldonado to Sandoval Lake, we rode in one of these boats on the Madre de Dios River. This river, unfortunately, has been taken over since by gold miners, who are truly messing it up.

Cool boats, tho the river looks muddy--recent flooding?
The Madre de Dios is a a tributary of the the Amazon, and always runs muddy. Thank you all for your votes and comments, as always.
