After two days of high winds...25-35 knots the first day, and 25-25 knots the second day (after a few early tacks, most of the day on port tack---great sailing), we went up the Wye River on the Eastern Bay of the Chesapeake the second night. We went into Granary Creek, heavily protected from the North (as you can see---no winds). It was almost "wall-to-wall" sailboats, most of which had likely not gone out on Saturday for too strong winds. So a quiet and restful evening, and a very calm photo.
Thanks for your votes on my bald eagle from last night. We will be away over the weekend, so no more photos until Sunday night.
