Summer in Maine #13

By handlerstudio
As I continue to drive, slowly up the road back toward Long Pond and Northern Neck Road, yet another pond scene, as son set draws nearer. And, to those of you who think that it is always foggy and misty, rainy on Mt. Desert Island, remember, this was one one evening, about two hours of driving around and photographing. And, as to the name of the island, it is covered with mountains, the tallest being Cadillac Mountain, which I will show a photo much later in the series of me and my bike at the top. It is about 1500 feet tall. Remember, this is right on the ocean. The top of Cadillac is the highest point on the Atlantic coastline north of Rio in South America. And the first light that hits the US in the morning.

One of the best in this series Peter, those stark trees in the middle creating great reflections.
