Blue-tailed Damselflies

By Ade_Osman
Another early upload from me today due to me being a complete slave to insomnia Sad

Well it's that time of year again when everybody starts uploading their images of BT Damselflies, so I thought I'd get one of my early efforts in now before the galleries become completely swamped by them Grin Found this pair doing what comes naturally down on the Somerset Levels on Wednesday. Straight out the camera, with no manipulation other than adding a border and a quick sharpen.

Thanks again for all the kind comments on yesterday upload of a much rarer Pearl Bordered Fritillary buttretfly, I've plenty more images of these butterflies to share, but thought I'd give you a rest from them today and go with this.

Regards to all that know me......Ade

It looks such a complicated 'manoeuvre', Ade: so well captured in fine detail as ever with the pair so clear against the OOF b/g.
Ronnie.
PS........thanks for comment today.........and from a fellow insomniac........R.
Quite an image, and quite a sexual position. Should this be an adult photo?

Wow...BT is really branching out. They're making damselfly-shaped phones now?

Excellent exposure and focus here, Ade. What detail!
