Sailing on the Chesapeake #10

By handlerstudio
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

While sailing back "downriver" to Rock Hall, we sailed past this fish trap (not too closely)....with the predictable cormorants stationed there waiting for dinner to be served with out any work. We see these in many parts of the Bay in shallow water (which much of it is), particularly on the Eastern Shore (which is defined by the Delmarva Peninsula....named for the three states of which it is comprised--Delaware, Maryland and Virginia). Also included in this set is a long distance shot of the "Geese Formerly Known as Canadian" flying in classic formation.

By the way....after dinner tonight, we were rematching (on You Tube) the Weekend Update from last Saturday's Saturday Night Live...the last part of which was a bit between Colin Jost and the supremely talented Kate McKinnon. Worth going and looking for.....

I actually have a craft show this weekend, a one day event in Connecticut on Sunday, driving up tomorrow....so I will be back on EPZ on Monday or Tuesday.
