The Old Pump Engine House

Just one of the derelict engine houses that dot the Cornish landscape. The tin mine is just a few yards from the cliff edge 200 feet above the Atlantic. The lower levels were over 500 feet down and the engine was reponsible for pumpimg water out of the main shaft

i have loads of theses engine houses near me in cornwall, i never tire of capturing these images of the past, great capture
