an ear over the channel

By havecamerawilltravel
Out walking from Folkestone to Dover, over the cliffs and through Wear Bay, walked past a "Listening Ear", like the ones at Dengemarsh.

As for the walk, it was 8.5 miles and from Folkestone Centre, to the Western Heights of Dover, including the cliff and up western heights. kinda cool to have done it.

The pic, was just straightened and the WB sorted, it was a bit dark. I popped it into Photoshop and used a couple of cleaning Actions, and popped a frame on it. Version 2, is the actual photo I wanted to show...

Thanks for looking, and for all the comments on the previous pics.

Lovely composition, except that maybe I'd like to see a bit more of the path on the right or else none of it. But you've caught the bleakness and the strangely sculptural look of the structure, and its relationship with the sea. Location noted, that's a walk for when we are down that way again! (I knew about the other group but not this location).

A rather wet and cold and hilly walk but that stretch of cliff had some interesting sights Smile

#2 for me. The colder look suits the the subject really well. It might be worth cropping some of the sky for a panoramic look.
