  • Autumn in New Hampshire by KingBee

Beautiful image. Great camera angle, drawing your eye into the image. Lovely location. I could have wished for a lighter vignette is all I can find against it. Maybe when this virus madness is over I can get to New England in the autumn and see it for myself

Definitely a fine art example. Been pondering the title though. It looks more like 'vase' or 'jug'. Still, it's made me look harder at it Grin

I did a bit more research on this and everleaf aren't offering too much choice in the way of colour.

However, Kelly Moore is a US company, and you can almost swap the for a $, as well as choosing from a gorgeous range of colours. Of course the shipping costs put the price right back up there.

Lucky for me I've got a brother living in the US and another one about to visit him for Christmas

Welcome to the mad-house. Not only does the little scumbag get away with vandalism but even at such a young age he knows how to play the system to his advantage.

I know this is a photography forum but nothing makes my blood boil more than the persistent trampling of decent people by oiks that know had to lead the looney liberal left by their noses.

    Rant over

  • Posted on: White Balance advice with David Hemmings

Great, easy to digest article. I'm just starting out and, just as you said: "left the setting on auto white balance (AWB) as your knowledge and experience of this subject was not up to speed".

This weekend I will spend some time experimenting and comparing against the AWB result.

I have to ask one thing, though. Did you shoot that cat all those times, or was it one shot taken in RAW format? Each image looks exactly the same, apart from the cast. I know cats can be still but it's not guaranteed, and there must have been a time lapse, while you changed the setting between each exposure.

    Thanks very much
