A Special Memory

By helenlinda
At the school camera club last week we went out into the playground to look for a variety of things including something that held a special memory for us. In the Nursery area I found an empty and decaying shell on the wall. On 2.7.09 I had photographed a moth coming out of a similar cocoon in the same place. That was the only time I have seen such a wonderful sight
Thanks for looking and for all your clicks and comments on my daffodil manipulation. Particular thanks to Di Hooke [diana] for her User Award - a great honour from someone whose flower manipulations are outstanding

What a difference a texture makes Helen - you have turned an ordinary image to something of great beauty. Inspiring work.

The tones you have chosen for this image are lovely Helen. The delicacy of this pupa hanging on the wall is quite something, it's a wonder it's not been destroyed by wind and rain. V1 for me, but thanks for showing us the orgianl too.

It is rare to see a hatching-- The moths are very clever and quick-- A lovely image and reminder!

Beautifully presented, Helen, and how wonderful to have been at the right place at the right time to be able to photograph a moth emerging. Carol

Superb work Helen - love the texturing. It caught my eye but I was not sure that I was seeing a spider in the image until I looked at V2 though.
