Love how you have sorted the buttons. This makes a beautiful image. I gave my neighbour all my grandmothers antique buttons because she uses them for wonderful quilts........Sandy

I used to have a jar full of buttons but gave them to the charity shop when I moved house - looking at this arrangement I am now regretting my good deed!!

Mum had a button tin. A large metal dried milk tin from the days of WWII.
Whenever she needed a button matching, we would tip the contents on to the table and begin the hunt for as near a match as possible. There must have been thousands of buttons in that tin...
