V1 is technically stunning. But I have to say that as a picture I prefer V2, for its warm, welcoming intimacy. It draws me in, whereas I stand back and admire V1.

The tones in V1 are very complimentary. Doesn't matter it's a bit dark as you don't want to look at the detail too much but just enjoy the colours. I might even have toned the red cross down a bit.
V2 has a great pseudo frame around it which helps to pull you towards the centre of the shot. Very well done.

I prefer these colors for this image, the red glow works well in V1-- lots of hard work here!

At first I preferred V1 but after looking at V2 changed my mind. V2 is much more interesting to study!
